New: UsabilityPosts Jobs

Every now and then I get recommendation requests from people looking to find talented designers and developers to work on their new project, so I thought it might be a good idea to set up a jobs board to let people to post their job listings, for both, freelance projects and full-time positions.

The new area of the site is located over at jobs.usabilitypost.com. I wasn’t happy with any off the shelf job board apps, so I’ve created my own to ensure everything is simple and easy. Job listings are currently priced at $45 per job for 30 days, and all latest listings will be shown in the blog sidebar as well as the board itself.

I don’t know how successful it will turn out, but I know it’s worth a shot given the number of very talented people who read this blog. So if you’re looking for a designer or developer, head over to the Jobs board and post your listing.

“For even falsehood, uttered by the tongue of man, seemed like truth and light before this hopelessly-deaf and unresponsive silence.”

My new book: a translation of selected short stories by Leonid Andreyev, the father of Russian Expressionism from the Silver Age of Russian literature. A piercing, pitiless glance into the heart of the human condition.

Proust wrote that the true voyage of discovery is not to visit strange lands, but to possess other eyes, to behold a hundred universes that each of them beholds. Thus, in the words of Ruskin, what good books give us is not mere knowledge, but sight.
